The IT Service Management Professional course is made up of the ITIL® 4 Foundation certification, provided through PeopleCert. The course is comprised of the topics outlined below:

  • Overview of Service Management and the introduction to ITIL® (Information Technology Infrastructure Library).

  • Introduction to the mentality and culture of how to serve the clients, and the service economy and understand your role in the Service Value Chain.

  • A holistic approach to the facilitation of co-creation of value with customers and other stakeholders in the form of products and services.

  • The guiding principles of ITIL® 4.

  • The four dimensions of Service Management.

  • Key concepts from Lean, Agile, and DevOps, and why these are important to deliver business value.

Enrolment information

The course requires no prerequisites; even if you are brand new to the industry, with the right attitude and appetite to learn, you will be able to join the course.

You will begin your study in a cohort with your fellow students – from there, you will have twelve months to complete the course, entirely at your own pace.

While there are no prerequisites for the course, you will need to have access to a laptop or desktop computer with a reliable internet connection.

Lumify Learn accepts no responsibility for personal electronic devices that are utilised for the course and undertakes no responsibility to investigate their damage.

Exams

The course includes one exam that need to be undertaken in-person at a testing centre near you, or in an online proctored environment. Exam fees are included in the cost of the course. Lumify Learn provides you with exam vouchers to register for this exam.
