How Our IT Internship Support Services Work
1. Enrol in a course
Sign up for any of our IT boot camps or accredited courses and add the Lumify Edge Job Placement Program to your enrolment. With a 2-year payment plan, this will add only $23 a week to your payment (or $2,300 if you decide to pay upfront).
2. Finish 85% of your course
When you complete 85% of your course, we’ll submit your details to our recruitment partner. They’ll immediately start looking for an IT internship placement for you with over 3,000 reputable host employers. You can choose to work 3, 4 or 5 days a week, allowing you to balance your internship with other commitments.
3. Apply for an internship
It’s a match! You are placed with an internship employer and commence a 12-week IT internship within your field of study. This could be in a physical office, fully remote and working from home, or somewhere in between. You will follow a structured training plan with meaningful job duties and have regular check-ins during this 12-week period to track your progress.
4. Path to a Full-Time Job
Time for your success story! Many interns secure full-time roles with their hostemployer. If you don’t receive a job offer, our recruitment partner will help youfind a full-time role with another employer within three months. We will arrange an interview with the host company and provide details like job descriptions, company background, and interview tips. You’ll then meet your potential supervisor during the interview to discuss job responsibilities and ensure the internship aligns with your goals. If you accept the internship, we will manage paperwork, agreements, training plans, and insurance.
Because the Job Placement Program is an added Lumify Edge offering, it will not affect your access to Lumify Edge resources. You can continue taking advantage of the resources and benefits that Lumify Edge offers while still participating in the Job Placement Program.
Yes. To access this initiative, you must sign up for any of Lumify Learn’s boot camps or accredited courses and add the Job Placement Program to your enrolment. You also need to complete at least 85% of your course before we can submit your details to our recruitment partner.
If you don’t receive a job offer during or after your internship, our recruitment partner will help you find a full-time job with another employer within three months. If this is unsuccessful, we will refund your Job Placement Program payment minus an administrative fee.
