Meet Reagan Mehrandish

Cybersecurity is best learned by understanding how technology works, how it can be exploited and how it can be protected. 
 
Reagan is a cybersecurity professional and trainer with more than five years of experience across web application security, network security, vulnerability assessment and incident response. He holds a Bachelor of Cybersecurity from Macquarie University and has developed strong technical knowledge across networking, cloud computing, system security and cyber security operations.

Reagan holds several industry-recognised certifications, including CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+, CompTIA Cybersecurity Analyst (CySA+) and AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner. 
 
His technical experience includes vulnerability testing, network troubleshooting, security monitoring, DDoS mitigation, DNS security, firewall and web application firewall configuration, endpoint security and cloud security. With experience with security technologies and concepts across Active Directory, single sign-on, multi-factor authentication, IDS and IPS solutions, EDR, secure gateways and the OWASP Top 10. He also works with tools including Burp Suite, Wireshark, Nmap, Nuclei, FFUF, Kali Linux and Python. 
 
Alongside his professional work, Reagan is an active vulnerability researcher and bug bounty hunter. He has identified and responsibly disclosed security vulnerabilities through international bug bounty platforms, helping organisations identify and address weaknesses in their applications and systems. 
 
As a trainer, Reagan delivers practical IT and cybersecurity training across a broad range of technical disciplines, with expertise spanning CompTIA certifications and beyond. His teaching approach combines technical theory with practical demonstrations, troubleshooting exercises and realistic workplace scenarios. 
 
Reagan is passionate about helping students build confidence, develop practical technical skills and begin successful careers in IT and cyber security.
