Pelin T. is an experienced ICT trainer and assessor with more than 20 years of experience in the technology industry. During her career, she has worked in senior technical and consulting roles with Microsoft and Accenture, supporting clients in areas such as cloud services, cybersecurity, networking, Microsoft technologies, application development, and IT service management.
Pelin enjoys helping students understand how AI works and how it can be used safely, responsibly, and effectively in real workplace situations. She believes technical learning should be practical, supportive, and easy to understand, even when the topic may feel challenging at first.
Pelin brings real industry experience into her training and encourages students to ask questions, explore new ideas, and learn through practical activities. She is passionate about creating a friendly learning environment where students feel comfortable, supported, and confident while developing their skills.
Pelin believes that if you do not challenge yourself, you are not truly learning. She encourages students to keep trying, accept that mistakes are part of learning, and never be afraid of failure. In her view, every mistake provides a valuable lesson and every new attempt is a step forward.
She is also continuing her postgraduate studies in Information Technology and Artificial Intelligence at QUT. As technology continues to change, Pelin enjoys learning new things and sharing that knowledge with her students.
Her approach to learning and life is inspired by Albert Einstein's saying, "Life is like riding a bicycle. To keep your balance, you must keep moving." Pelin believes that IT is a lifelong journey and that progress comes from curiosity, courage, and the willingness to keep going.
