Building Victoria’s digital workforce through the Digital Jobs program
Lumify Learn is a partner of the Victorian Government’s Digital Jobs program, an initiative to build the state’s digital workforce by training and upskilling mid-career Victorians so they can transition into digital careers.
What is the Digital Jobs program?
The Digital Jobs program aims to upskill 5,000 talented mid-career, enabling them to transition into high-demand jobs in the digital economy. The program supports participants to complete 12 weeks of industry-backed training along with the opportunity to apply their new digital skills in a 12-week digital job placement with a Victorian business. The Victorian government has also lined up some of the state’s top employers to host program candidates, including ANZ, Carsales, Zendesk, Siemens and Salesforce.
The program is looking for motivated applicants over the age of 30 who are ready for a career change. Courses are available in the following areas:
Artificial intelligence (AI) / machine learning
Cloud computing
Customer relationship management (CRM)
Cyber security
Data analytics
Digital marketing
Enterprise resource planning (ERP)
IT operations and support
Product management
Programming / software development
Project management (agile)
User experience / user interface (UX/UI)
Web development
